One of the best Russain epic love story I've read. The writer was able to make me live every moment, every gun shot, every drop of rain, every whisper, kiss, thought. I felt the cold weather in the desert  I live in, imagined the immobility the snow created, and totally imagined my self in Russia.The story takes place in the early 1900s where a girl faces her biggest challgenes in life.

Karak Mania

I dont entirely understand the obsession, or otherwise called the love affair, we locals (Emiratis) have with the infamous Karak! when we make the mixture of hot tea and milk at home, it doesn't seem to be as tasty or as satisfying as a store-bought one. We drink it day and night, afternoon or before bed, alone or with compnay, but this little hot cup has a huge impact on our minds. Is it the loads of sugar, or the specific time the milk and tea needs to dance together creating  beautiful bubbles before serving it? The municipality investigated a local karak seller caferteria becaus people got hooked to thier karak and it became famous nation wide!!.. The conclusion was ... nothing seemed to be wrong!! yeppeee :D

oh well, as long as this little cup give us joy, let it be forever served!! :D

let's get it straight!

Although I'm a new born here in the bogging world, I know I shoud be blogging more. Here's the thing, its Ramadan now and i dont have many interesting things to blog about! Im either sleeping, praying Taraweeh, reading Quran, or with my cousins at grandma's house. I remember last Ramadan i was more active, not this one though... Ionly made a pineapple cake once, which turned out to be very delicious if i may say myself :P

Hopefully, ater Ramadan, which sadly will end in about 2 more weeks, my life will go back to normal and i'll post more!! pinky promise :)

oh la la

Something that i love and proundly collect is perfumes. When i say perfumes, i don't mean body sprays, but the authentic triple notes scent that lingers on your body and clothes. Whenever i see my collection, i smile... spritzing perfume on my wrists and inner elbows give me so much joy as it lifts up my mood whenever im feeling a little blue!
